The Zodiacs Track Team Participated in the 2015 NYRR Youth Jamboree with Impressive Showing


Both new and returning members of the team hit the track and won first, second and third place ribbons

New York, October 26, 2015 /KidZNewswire/ -- The Bronx-based team was bubbling with excitement in anticipation of the event. When the guns went off the Zodiacs hit the track determined to make their mark. Their training paid off and they made an impressive showing at the event which made the coaches, parents and kids happy. There were smiles all round.

The NYRR Youth Jamboree was presented by Tata Consultancy Services on Saturday, October 24 at New Balance Track & Field Center at the Armory . There were about 2,500 kids age 3 to 18 from all over NYC, along with dozens of seniors at the event. The exciting youth event officially kicked off the 2015 TCS New York City Marathon race week.

?I?ve been watching the Zodiacs for five years and I am very impressed with the team,? said one parent who approached the Zodiacs table. ?They did a great job.?

"The Zodiacs are looking forward to the coming track and field season," said a Coach Francis.
